Custom Fabricated Prototype Training Machine
At Technical Fabrication, we provide custom fabricated products for a wide range of industries and applications. The project highlighted here was designed for use as a martial arts fighter training machine, it was composed of A-500, and A-36 steel, and utilized a number of our metal forming capabilities. The complexity of this product required the assignment of a dedicated engineer to oversee construction.
The steel that comprised the three main assemblies were cut to size with a combination of an oxy/acetylene torch, plasma cutter, and shear. The sections were formed with our press brake, which was used to bump roll. All components were welded and fully ground smooth prior to the application of a durable black powder coat finish. Vibration testing was performed throughout the fabrication process, as well as dimensional inspections which were in full compliance with ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards. We fabricated two prototypes from the customers engineering drawings in only 8 to 10 weeks. For more information on this project, or the processes used to fabricate, see the table below or contact us directly.
